John Butler is the Marketer and Publicist for Honeycomb Literary Press, using six years of marketing experience to connect books with readers. In his final year of the MFA program at the University of Baltimore, he brings a strong background in publishing and literary outreach. A former Managing Editor for Welter (Spring 2024 ed.), he’s passionate about championing emerging voices.

When not reading or writing, he tends to his quirky mix of crabs, fish, and snails or experiments with fruit trees in his hobby orchard. A fan of city events and sour beer, he’s always hunting for a great read, a unique fruit, or a fascinating creature.
